GPS
Module - The VB10SPS is a non-contact speed and position sensor
based on 10Hz GPS technology. Data output
is via CAN Bus to allow easy integration into most motor sport and
testing applications.
The
VB10SPS also features analogue and digital outputs. The analogue
output corresponds to either vehicle speed or lateral acceleration
with user selectable scaling while the digital output can be
configured as either a digital speed pulse output or a lap beacon
marker.
Ideally
suited to marine applications

MPC2C
CAN to CAN interface - This user programmable CAN
interface has been designed to link multiple different CAN systems to
a common high speed CAN network within the logger network. Each MPC2C
device is manufacturer programmed to suit the CAN speeds of all common
vehicle networks.
All loggers utilise the CAN2-A
format with a standardized internal structure to enable simple
connection to all of our own system modules and devices. For this
reason, nearly all external CAN streams (regardless of speed) are fed
through an MPC2C device before entering the logger.
We understand that the format and structure of
your CAN systems may be highly sensitive and rarely allowed beyond the
walls of your organization. For this reason we give you the tools
necessary to create and test the interface, all we provide is the
hardware and software to make it happen.

MP16-D
16 input high speed expansion module - The
MP16D CAN expansion module has been designed to function as a high
acquisition rate, multi purpose channel input module.
16
individual bi-polar inputs with adjustable gain from 1,10 or 100 may
be used for the majority of sensor types, as well as temperature
compensation for thermocouple inputs. All are programmable via RS232
using a dedicated software tool Three versions
are available, the only difference being the CAN transmission rate of
200Hz, 500Hz, 1kHz.
This
device may be used with any of the following sensor output types –
0-5V single ended or bi-polar / variable resistance / Thermocouple
type K grounded or ungrounded.

MP16-J
Input Junction box for the MP16D - The MP16-J junction box has
been specifically designed to ’mate’ directly with the MP16-D CAN
expansion module, giving access to each of the 16 inputs as individual
connections.
This
junction box proves invaluable when using the MP16-D in an environment
where testing requirements are changeable. Users are given full access
to the signal distribution PCB where a range of hardware ‘jumpers’
are available to easily change the input configuration.
The
housing is a machined aluminium enclosure with individual connections
for each input as well as 2 lemo connections for CAN, and a single
RS232 connector for programming the MP16-D module.
The
small internal void coupled with free flowing ventilation between the
MP16D and the distribution PCB ensure minimal error for remote TCK
compensation, although it is recommended that thermocouples are
directly wired to the MP16D to avoid any cold junction error.

DKM16A
16 input expansion module - The DKM016A CAN expansion module has been designed to function as a
high-resolution generic input expansion module with 16 individual
single ended inputs that may be used with the majority of sensor
types.
Housing
is a horizontally designed machined and anodised aluminium enclosure
sealed to IP67 using an Autosport series 37-way connector. 3 x M4 tapped holes are provided for easy mounting.

FM16-A 16
input 4kHz expansion module - The
FM16A is a high speed CAN expansion module able to acquire up to 16
inputs at 12bit resolution. The user has the choice to log either
16inputs at 1Khz, 8 inputs at 2Khz, or 4 at 4Khz. Filtering
and gain are programmable via software.
Multiple
modules may be used within the same system
providing the modules are fitted to separate CAN lines, this is done
to avoid data throughput overload on the CAN lines.

DKM04IC
digital input expansion module - The DKM04IC expansion module may
be used as a general-purpose digital input module for use with Hall
Effect or inductive sensors**, or as a wheel speed module using the
on-board features.
In
addition to the 4 separate inputs, associated with inputs 1 & 2
are individual distance counters, a calculated speed channel taken and
a re-calculated distance taken from this derived speed channel. Using
the Table Manager set-up application the user is able to calibrate the
inputs for differing wheel circumference & triggers per
revolution.

DKM04A
analogue input expansion module The DKM04A expansion module may be
used where lower resolution 10-bit measurements of 0-5V inputs are
acceptable. Each module is hardware configured to transmit the 4
inputs using a pre-defined set of CAN addresses (Maps) in Word format.
Customised
versions of this module are available to provide alternative reference
voltages and input ranges. A single Vref voltage supply and analogue
ground are common to all inputs.
Housing
is a machined aluminium enclosure with individual connections for each
input as well as 2 separate ports for CAN-in and CAN-out.

DKM02TK
2 input thermocouple expansion module - The DKM02TK expansion
module is pre-calibrated for direct connection to any type K
thermocouple. All signal linearisation and the cold junction
compensation are carried out within the module.
In
standard format, up to 8 thermocouples may be connected to any
individual CAN line using the 4 CAN maps that are available. For users
who require a far greater number of thermocouple inputs it may be
preferable to utilise one of the programmable 16 input modules MP16D
Housing
is a machined aluminium enclosure with individual connections for each
input as well as a single port for CAN. The CAN junction should be
carried out within the wiring assembly.

DKM02TK
2 input strain gauge expansion module - The DKM02D module has been
specifically created to enable direct connection to a full bridge
strain gauge via a 4 way Lemo connector.
An
internal offset of 0.5V (against the 2.5v supply) provides an 80% /
20% shift in the zero value to give greater measurement range in one
direction, a feature of most automotive measurements. Alternative
voltage offsets are available on request.
Other
features of the DKM02D include a reference 2.5V sensor supply and a
fixed gain of 500, which may be changed at the time of ordering. Gauge
trim for zero and calibration can be carried out within the logger
configuration software – Table Manager
